02 Entry Requirements
Academic Entry
- Minimum age of 17 at enrolment
- Completed full-time high school education
- English competence equivalent to a minimum IELTS 5.5 for applicants without English as a first language, or evidence of prior study in English
- La Xenia placement testing may be available where necessary to assess English level

04 Career Opportunities
Hospitality and tourism is a broad international sector. BHM graduates can use their academic and practical experience as a foundation for opportunities across hospitality, tourism, events and service management.
05 After Graduation & Progression
Completing your BHM does not have to be the end of your La Xenia journey. Graduates can explore professional or academic progression opportunities.
Global Internship
Eligible graduates can explore international internship opportunities, allowing them to take their hospitality experience into a new professional and cultural environment.
Depending on availability and eligibility, destinations may include the United Kingdom, United States, UAE, Singapore and other international hospitality destinations.
Typical duration: 6–12 monthsOptional Year 4
Graduates may also choose to continue academically through an additional period of study leading towards a UK Bachelor degree.
This normally involves approximately six months to one year of additional study.
Additional study and fees applyProgression and internship opportunities are optional and may involve additional fees. Destinations, placements, duration and extensions are subject to availability, individual eligibility, employer requirements and applicable immigration and visa regulations.
