Institutional Disclaimer
Institutional Status
La Xenia International Institute of Switzerland is a private educational institution based in Switzerland.
La Xenia does not hold institutional accreditation under the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA) and is not a federally or cantonally accredited Swiss university or university of applied sciences. Qualifications awarded independently by La Xenia should therefore not be understood as degrees awarded by a Swiss state-accredited higher education institution.
Switzerland’s higher education accreditation framework is administered through the Swiss Accreditation Council and supported by the Swiss Agency of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (AAQ). Further information is available at www.aaq.ch.
Institutional Partnerships and International Degree Pathways
La Xenia collaborates with international educational institutions to provide additional academic progression opportunities, including top-up programmes, dual qualifications and integrated 2-in-1 degree pathways.
Depending on the programme and applicable admission requirements, students may have opportunities to pursue additional qualifications through the following partner institutions:
- Vision University College, Malaysia
- City University Malaysia
- Asia e University (AeU), Malaysia
- VERN’ University, Croatia
These arrangements may allow eligible students to pursue an additional qualification issued by a partner institution, subject to the specific programme structure, academic requirements and applicable partnership agreements.
Recognition and Accreditation of Partner Qualifications
Partner institutions operate under their respective national higher education frameworks. The recognition or accreditation status of a partner institution does not automatically extend to La Xenia, its independently awarded qualifications or all programmes offered through a partnership.
Where a programme leads to a qualification awarded by a partner institution, the recognition and accreditation status of that qualification must be assessed separately according to the awarding institution, the specific programme and the applicable national regulatory framework.
Students should not assume that participation in a top-up, dual-degree or 2-in-1 programme automatically results in two state-recognised qualifications.
The exact awarding institution, qualification title, admission requirements, programme structure and recognition status should be confirmed before enrolment.
Important Notice Regarding Programme Availability
Not all programmes, degree levels or specialisations offered by La Xenia are available through top-up, dual-degree or 2-in-1 pathways.
Availability depends on the individual partnership, the selected programme, academic eligibility and the requirements of the awarding institution.
Students interested in obtaining an additional qualification through one of La Xenia’s international partners should contact the admissions team to confirm the options currently available.
Croatian Partnership — VERN’ University
La Xenia also maintains an academic partnership with VERN’ University in Croatia.
VERN’ University operates within the Croatian higher education system. However, the institutional status of VERN’ University should not be interpreted as confirmation that every programme offered in collaboration with La Xenia is accredited or recognised as a Croatian higher education qualification.
In particular, students should not assume that MBA or DBA programmes offered through this partnership carry Croatian programme accreditation or recognition unless this has been expressly confirmed for the specific programme.
Important Information for Prospective Students
Students seeking a qualification for employment, professional licensing, further academic studies, immigration purposes or recognition by a government authority should verify the acceptance of their intended qualification before enrolling.
Recognition of qualifications may differ between countries, employers, universities, professional bodies and government authorities.
La Xenia encourages students who specifically require a government-recognised qualification to enquire about the available international top-up and 2-in-1 pathways and to verify the status of the qualification awarded by the relevant partner institution.
The final decision regarding the acceptance or recognition of any qualification rests with the receiving institution, employer, professional body or competent authority.
